My beauty journey wasn't always easy. As a teenager, I struggled with self-image—trying to fit in by straightening my hair, I faced the setback of losing it. But that loss led me to embrace my natural beauty, sparking a journey of self-care and confidence. After moving to the U.S. from Colombia to study, my world was turned upside down when my husband suffered a stroke and passed away. As a single mom, I moved to Miami to heal and rebuild my life.

Amidst my healing, I reconnected with my passion for entrepreneurship. I decided to start Dorelle Pure Essence. Dorelle blends the Afro-Latina culture, commitment to self-care, wellness, and resilience. Dorelle isn’t just a name; it’s a symbol that despite the struggles, you should never stop believing in yourself. I want you to feel your most confident self, embracing your natural beauty.
